Herbal remedies for arrhythmia
Arrhythmia or heartbeat irregularities are deviations from the normal, steady beating of the heart. Usually, a person does not feel the palpation of the heart and does not distinguish its rhythm. Both sick and healthy people can be affected by it. The disorder in a healthy person can occur due to such factors as extensive physical activity, excitement and hot weather; abusing tobacco, alcohol, strong tea and coffee may add to that factor. Arrhythmia may also be a warning sign of the beginning of a cardiovascular disease. Many kinds of the disorder do not present a serious threat to human life, but at its first occurrence it is necessary to visit a doctor.
Combine 25 g of each: valerian root, motherwort grass, cumin, and fennel. Put 10 g of the mix in 1 cup of boiling water, boil for 15 min and steep for 45 min. Filter, squeeze out the mush and add boiled water to make it a full cup. Take ½ cup 3 times a day.
Mix together 2 parts of valerian root, 2 parts of motherwort grass, 1 part of yarrow and 1 part of anise. Put 1 tbsp of the mix in 1 cup of boiling water and steep for 30min. Take 1/3 cup 2-3 times a day.
Prepare a mix; 2 parts of horsetail grass, 3 parts of knotweed and 5 parts of hawthorn flowers. Add 1 tbsp of the mix to 1 cup of boiling water and keep in thermos overnight. Take 1/3-1/4 of cup 3-4 times a day.
Place 1-2 tsp of cornflowers in 1 cup of boiling water. Steep for 1 hour, filter and drink ¼ cup 3 times a day 10-15 min before meal.
Put 15 g of lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) in 1 cup of boiling water and steep for 30 min, filter and take 1-2 tbsp 5-6 times a day. Use for heartache and insomnia.
Put 2 tbsp of crushed turnip in 1 cup of boiling water and boil for 15 min, filter and drink ½ of cup 4 times a day or 1 full cup at night.
Put 1 tbsp of elecampane root in 2 cups of boiling water and boil for 15 min at low heat. Take 2 tbsp every hour during a day. Do not use if pregnant or have a kidney disorders.
